Return Policy
Brain-Builders always guarantees your satisfaction. All our items have a 30-day money back guarantee. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, simply return it to us in its complete and original condition within 30 days of receipt for a refund. Some products like Software, CD's, DVD's and Video Tapes are not returnable if the seal or wrap is broken.
In the case of a return, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price. However, the refund will not include the shipping and handling costs.
- If Brain-Builders has shipped the wrong item, we will pay for all shipping costs to correct that error.
- If a package is canceled or refused by the customer after it has already been shipped, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs to the intended destination and return to the warehouse.
- Incorrect addresses provided by the customer that result in charges to Brain-Builders may be subject to additional shipping charges to ship to the correct address.

For your protection, we suggest you send your return via Federal Express, UPS or by US Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation for tracking purposes. We are not responsible for any returned packages lost in shipping. If you add delivery confirmation to your return, your package will be trackable, and will serve as evidence of mailing.
We cannot honor refunds or exchanges for any merchandise that is sent back us after 30 days, has been damaged, or is not in its original condition and original packaging.
Shipping Information
How much does shipping cost?
The shipping charges will be calculated and displayed for you after you type in your shipping information. You will know the exact amount of shipping cost of your order before you enter your credit card information. Shipping charges are based on the total amount of your order. For any oversize items, there will be an additional charge of $10-25 per shipment depending on size and weight. Shipping charges are located on the chart below:
We ship via several carriers such as UPS, FedEx and USPS (Postal Service) and will choose the carrier based upon the most efficient way of delivering your package. We may ship your order using either ground or air shipping services as necessary to meet the estimated delivery date. These options do not correspond directly to any carrier-branded One-Day or Two-Day air shipping services.

How long will it take to get my products?
This varies based on your location (we are located in Southern California), product availability and shipping method. If all the products on your order are in stock (as seen in your shopping cart) then it will usually ship according to the availability as seen on the item details. Most out of stock items are shipped within 5-7 business days. If your order is going to be delayed for 5 days or more, due to items being out of stock, we will let you know via e-mail as to the status and expected shipping date.
Standard Delivery: Takes anywhere from 1 to 7 business days, depending on your distance from our warehouse in Southern California. The transit times are set by the various shipping companies and are not guaranteed. Click HERE to see a map of estimated shipping times for Standard Shipping.
Premium Delivery: Takes 2-3 days to just about any address in the contiguous United States. Please allow extra time for delivery to addresses in Alaska and Hawaii.
Express Delivery: Next Business Day delivery to just about any address in the contiguous United States. Please allow extra time for delivery to addresses in Alaska and Hawaii.
What if I pay by check or money order?
Payments by check or money order must be received and clear the bank prior to our shipping the order. This means there can be a delay as long as 2-3 weeks from the time you send your check.
What if one item will delay the entire order?
We will contact you via e-mail to let you know if there is anything in your order that is out of stock. If you have a larger order and one item is going to cause a significant delay, you have the option of waiting for the out of stock item to arrive and have your shipment sent together, or we can ship your order in two shipments. You will not pay any extra shipping charges for the second shipment.
How will I know when my order has shipped?
You will receive an e-mail confirmation that your order has shipped on the day it ships out. If your order went via FedEx Ground, FedEx Express or UPS you will also be given a tracking number.
Am I charged before my order ships?
We do not charge your credit card until your order is ready and available to ship. If your items are backordered then you will not be charged until they are ready to ship.

International Orders
We are required by law to list the price you paid as the customs amount of the package and we are required to accurately list the contents of your shipment.
Upon arrival of your package in your country, the carrier will contact you to arrange payment of any local duties, taxes or customs charges assessed by your government. Keep in mind that we have absolutely no control over these charges. In some outlying areas where the original shipping carrier is not the delivering carrier, you may be assessed a delivery-area-surcharge by the carrier that makes ultimate delivery to you.
When ordering from Brain-Builders, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
The recipient is responsible for any duties and taxes payment.
Brain-Builders reserves the right to charge the customer for customs duty in the event of non-payment. If you refuse to accept delivery of the package, we reserve the right to charge your credit card for both outbound and inbound shipping charges. THERE WILL BE NO REFUND ON SHIPPING COSTS IF YOUR PRODUCT IS REJECTED AND RETURNED BY CUSTOMS OR DELIVERY FAILURE.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is charged only on orders sent within the state of California. California State laws require that we charge a sales tax on the full amount of the order, excluding shipping. Because we are located in Ventura County, all shipments to California addresses are charged at the rate of 7.25%. No sales tax is charged on orders shipped outside of California.
Security
Your order will be processed on a secure server. Our secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. Once we receive your order, we will not give out any of your information for any reason.

How do I redeem a GiveAnything.com gift certificate?
We Accept GiveAnything Online Gift Certificates
If the amount of your purchase is less than or equal to the amount of your gift certificate, simply choose "GiveAnything.com gift certificate" from the drop down list as your payment method AND enter your 16-digit number in the space provided. You should not enter your GiveAnything.com gift certificate number in the gift certificate/coupon code field on the shipping screen but instead enter in the payment information screen.
If your purchase exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, you have a few choices:
- You may go to the GiveAnything.com website and add more money to your certificate.
- You may enter your certificate number in the "comments" section of the checkout, then your credit card number in the payment method. Please be sure you let us know the amount of the certificate you are redeeming so we can properly charge the remainder on your credit card.

How do I pay by check, Money Order or Purchase Order?
We are happy to accept purchases via Checks/Money Orders from individuals and businesses, or Purchase Orders (from schools and non-profit organizations only).
To pay by Check or Money order: Simply continue through the checkout process. When you reach the billing address page, simply print the page, fill it out with your shipping address and send it with your check to:
